Our story started far from here, in Moldova.
We’re Pavel and Anastasia, the owners of World of Desserts. Pavel is a professional pastry chef who spent years working in upscale restaurants in the Buffalo area, perfecting his craft and creating beautiful desserts. Anastasia originally followed a very different path — she completed medical school in Moldova and worked as an EMT and later as a resident doctor in a cardiology department. But even during those years, baking was always her favorite hobby.
We both share a love for traveling, especially across Europe. One thing that always inspired us was the atmosphere of small Italian street cafés — the smell of fresh espresso, beautiful desserts in the display, and people slowing down to enjoy the moment.
In 2023, we decided to start our journey with a dessert and coffee food truck, serving European-style homemade treats and handcrafted coffee drinks made with Italian beans. It has been an amazing and fun experience, and we’re so grateful for everyone who supported us along the way.
But the food truck was never the final dream.
Our real dream has always been to create a cozy café — a place filled with the aroma of fresh coffee, unique desserts, and a warm atmosphere where people can gather and relax.
Right now, we are renovating a space in Orchard Park to turn that dream into reality. Very soon, we’ll be opening our doors and inviting you to experience a little taste of Europe… without leaving your own town.
